Salicylic Peel
A glycolic peel is a type of chemical peel that is used to improve the texture and appearance of the skin. It involves the application of a solution containing glycolic acid, which is derived from sugarcane. Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that exfoliates the top layer of the skin, promoting cell turnover and revealing smoother, fresher skin underneath.
